Registration disabled on demo site

Due to technical problems associated with the content resetting, user registration has been disabled on the demo site. Users can still register on this site, and as before their account will carry over to the demo site. Login and password reset pages are still accessible on both sites.

Users who have registered before now may experience login problems, as a result of some new users registering on the demo site. Any users experiencing problems logging in should reset their password immediately.

The problem arose because the content reset involves emptying the site's sequences table, which was interfering with user ID generation. Now that registration is possible only on the main site, user ID sequencing should continue working with no problems.
